The Los Angeles Superior Court’s Child Support courtrooms, clerk’s office and the family law facilitator office will move from the Central Civil West Courthouse to the County Courthouse on April 19, the court announced Thursday.
All court-related functions at CCW will cease April 16. Cases with hearing dates on or after April 19 will be heard by the existing court commissioner at the County Courthouse on the same date and time currently scheduled, unless otherwise noted.
Notices will be mailed to parties with upcoming hearing dates. A flier will be attached to new filings notifying the parties of the changed location.
The new location of the clerk’s office will be room 425B on the fourth floor of the County Courthouse. Business hours are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The new family law facilitator office will be in room 426 on the fourth floor of the County Courthouse.
There is no public parking at the courthouse, but pay lots are available nearby and throughout the downtown area.
