Firefighters quickly knocked down a quarter-acre vegetation fire in Mission Viejo Saturday.
Firefighters were dispatched at 8:11 a.m. to the area of southbound State Route 241, north of Santiago Canyon Road, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
Officials said the fire posed no threat to the surrounding area.
