A California Highway Patrol officer suffered a minor injury to his left hand while responding to a disturbance that arose at the scene of a crash at or near the Mountain High ski resort in Wrightwood.
The disturbance was first reported at 6:50 p.m. on the Angeles Crest (2) Highway near Table Mountain road, according to the CHP log.
Details about how the officer was hurt were not available, but there was discussion about a laser that was thrown into a backpack inside a vehicle.
The officer was not taken by ambulance to a hospital, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
