Six people were injured in a three-vehicle collision in the Mid-Wilshire area Wednesday, including one who needed to be freed from an overturned vehicle and hospitalized.
Firefighters responded around 5:17 p.m. to the 4500 block of Wilshire Boulevard, near Rossmore Avenue, to a report of a multi-vehicle a collision, according to Brian Humphrey with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The trapped motorist was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries in “moderate distress, ” Humphrey said.
The other injured people suffered minor injuries and did not need to be hospitalized.
