Southern California Gas Co. officials Tuesday evening were investigating a gas leak in Manhattan Beach, closing some northbound lanes on Sepulveda Boulevard.
It was unclear what prompted the leak near Sepulveda Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue, which was reported around 5:30 p.m., according to Manhattan Beach officials.
The public was advised to avoid the area until further notice.
