A four-vehicle collision Friday involving big rig, motorcycle and several cars temporarily blocked all northbound lanes on Interstate 215 in Riverside, though no injuries were reported.

The chain crash happened about 10:50 a.m. Friday near the 60/91/215 interchange, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The agency said that the vehicles impacted in the middle lanes of I-215, but no other details were immediately available.

All traffic came to a complete stop as a result of the collision.

Riverside Fire Department crews reached the location within minutes and began assessing the occupants of the vehicles, but there were no reports of anyone being transported a hospital for treatment.

CHP officers moved the vehicles to the shoulder of the freeway, and all lanes were open and passable at 11:15 a.m., according to reports from the scene.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
