Firefighters worked together and contained a fire in a vacant building that was fully-involved in flames Monday morning in San Jacinto.
Crews responded at 8:15 a.m. Monday to a report of a single-story structure fire in the 2000 block of South San Jacinto Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The Hemet Fire Department also responded and assisted with containment efforts, fire officials said. By 9:41 a.m., the fire was contained to the building.
Firefighters remained on the scene for overhaul and mop-up for several hours.
No injuries or displacements were reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
