A half-acre vegetation fire ignited Sunday in Mead Valley.
The fire was reported at 3:49 p.m. Sunday in the 20600 block of Firewood Street, Riverside County Fire Department officials said.
Firefighters stopped the spread of the fire at 4:26 p.m., and fire crews anticipated remaining on scene for approximately two to three hours.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
