A firefighter and a civilian were injured during a residential fire in Blythe Saturday that displaced two residents and three dogs, the Riverside County Fire Department announced.
The fire was reported at 11:10 a.m. Saturday in the 17500 block of Blythe Way, according to the department.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury and was taken to a hospital. A civilian was also rushed to a hospital and listed in stable condition after suffering a medical emergency, authorities said.
The attic fire was contained to the residence after additional resources were requested.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
