A man was shot and killed during a street takeover in South Los Angeles Sunday.
The shooting was reported around 3:30 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 89th Street and Broadway, reportedly during a street takeover, according to ABC7.
The man, who was only described as a 40 to 50-year-old, was shot in the face and was pronounced dead at the scene, the station reported.
The LAPD was unable to confirm whether the man was involved, but according to ABC7, multiple witnesses said the shooting happened during a street takeover.
The area of around 89th Street and Broadway was shut down while the investigation continued.
