Authorities are investigating a crash Saturday that killed a motorcycle rider on the Hollywood (170) Freeway in North Hollywood.

The crash was reported around 11:55 p.m. Friday, when California Highway Patrol officers responded to the northbound freeway near the Sherman Way exit and learned the motorcycle rider and another vehicle had been involved in a collision on the freeway, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.

The victim was found lying in a freeway lane and was pronounced dead at the scene.

She was identified as 29-year-old Leslie Labrin Gomez, according to the Medical Examiner’s office. Her city of residence was not made available.

The collision closed three lanes of the freeway while the CHP investigated the crash.
