A brush fire south of the Foothill (210) overpass in Pasadena was extinguished Friday, with no reports of injuries or damage to structures.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 2000 block of Linda Vista Avenue around 7:45 a.m. Friday regarding flames near the 210 Freeway overpass, according to city of Pasadena Public Information Officer Lisa Derderian.
Pasadena Fire Department crews, assisted by the Los Angeles County and Glendale Fire Departments, worked together to establish an anchor point, create a fire line around the perimeter and extinguish the flames.
The fire was extinguished around 8:30 a.m., but several fire crews remained at the location to ensure all hot spots were completely doused.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
