A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Sunday in the unincorporated La Colonia Independencia area near Anaheim.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 7:17 p.m. Sunday at 10911 Gilbert St, just north of Katella Avenue.
The pedestrian, whose identity was not disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene and the Orange County coroner’s office was requested to respond.
