At least one person was killed Sunday when a pickup and sedan collided in the Lake Elsinore area of Riverside County.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 9:25 p.m. Sunday by a person in the involved white Ford F-150 pickup on the northbound 15 Freeway just south of Central Avenue.
A witness told the CHP that both vehicles went off the side of the road and a blaring horn made it difficult for the dispatcher to hear the person in the truck.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
