A 77-year-old man was reported missing after being last seen Tuesday in Anaheim, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.
John Tran was last seen Tuesday around 3 p.m. near the intersection of South Magnolia Avenue and Westhaven Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Tran was described as a 5-foot-tall man weighing 100 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and dark gray sweatpants, but he was not wearing any shoes.
Anyone with information regarding Tran’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
