Two people were rushed to a hospital Sunday after a crash in Thomas Mountain, just north of Anza.
The two-vehicle crash was reported around 1:50 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Highway 74 and Morris Ranch Road, the Riverside County Fire Department announced.
One person required extrication and was rushed to a hospital by helicopter with moderate injuries while the other was rushed to a hospital by ground ambulance with minor to moderate injuries, according to the fire department.
The two people involved were the sole occupants of the vehicles, but no identifying information on them was available.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
The California Highway Patrol was investigating the crash.
