The fire was reported at 2:49 p.m. Saturday at the equestrian center in Huntington Central Park, in the 18300 block of Goldenwest Street, a Metro Cities dispatcher told City News Service.

Within an hour, firefighters at the scene reported having a line of cleared vegetation around the fire and that forward progress had stopped, he said.

The fire burned about one acre, the dispatcher said. No injuries were reported.
