A Woodland Hills hydrotherapy business was in need of some healing Monday after a vehicle left the Ventura (101) Freeway and crashed onto its tile roof in the middle of the night, causing what the proprietor called severe damage.

The Chevrolet was empty when officers and fire department crews arrived at 3 a.m. Sunday morning at the Libbe Bar – Colon Hydrotherapy Center, which is in a strip mall off the northbound side of the freeway at 22311 Ventura Blvd., according to the L.A. Daily News.

The owner told the newspaper the business “looked like a bomb had been dropped.”

It was not immediately clear if investigators have caught up to the hit-and-run driver, who was at large as of Sunday evening, or if the person sustained any serious injury.

No other injuries were reported and no road closures resulted, but a stretch of fence along the freeway was left damaged.
