A driver sped off the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway and crashed into a Maserati dealership and an investigation is underway Wednesday, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash was reported at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday on the eastbound freeway and the Azusa Avenue exit, where responding CHP officers located the vehicle, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
The crash left the dealership with broken windows, a concrete light pole broken at its base and also damaged approximately 30 feet of chain link perimeter fence.
Broadcast television accounts reported the he driver and passenger were not injured in the crash.
