The California Highway Patrol issued an Endangered Missing Alert for an 18-year-old man last seen in the Van Nuys area of Los Angeles.
Marcos Garcia was last seen at about 4 p.m. Sunday at Burbank Boulevard and Noble Avenue, according to the CHP. He is believed to be on foot.
Garcia is Latino, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 140 pounds, with curly black hair and brown eyes, wearing a gray shirt with orange lettering, blue jeans, and black shoes and carrying a black backpack.
Anyone who sees Garcia, or knows where he might be, was urged to call 911.
The CHP issues Endangered Missing advisory’s to help law enforcement more quickly find children or adults who are developmentally or cognitively impaired or otherwise not able to care for themselves and disappear under unexplained or suspicious circumstances.
