Authorities Saturday continued investigating a brush fire that burned five acres in Riverside.
Firefighters responded to the area of Tequesquite Avenue and Gregory Road at the Riverbottom around 12:30 p.m. Friday.
A second and third alarm response was requested before the forward progress was stopped at five acres around 1:25 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
