The person killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Mead Valley was identified Sunday.
The crash was reported at 5:37 p.m. Saturday on Rider Street at Old Elsinore Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness told the CHP that someone inside a heavily damaged vehicle was not responding. One witness reported that a white car was severely smashed in the rear. It appeared from witness reports that three vehicles were involved in the crash.
Arriving firefighters reported that one patient was critically injured, one had minor injuries and one died at the scene.
The person killed was identified Sunday as 23-year-old Christopher Osorio of Perris.
