Actress Selma Blair was facing possible charges Monday following her arrest for allegedly trying to open an airplane door and assaulting two flight attendants aboard a flight from Los Angeles to New York, according to media reports.
Blair, 54, was arrested Sunday after a Delta Air Lines flight from Los Angeles International Airport landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, TMZ reported.
The “Legally Blonde” actress was taken to a hospital for evaluation.
Two flight attendants were also hospitalized for treatment, one after allegedly being punched and the other bitten, according to the tabloid website.
“Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition,” a statement issued on Blair’s behalf to TMZ said.
