The woman died at the scene of her injury, which occurred about 7 a.m. at Rosecrans Avenue and Jacana Drive, said Lt. Eric Smitson of the sheriff’s Norwalk Station. Her name was not immediately released.
The motorist remained at the scene, and the investigation was continuing, Smitson said.
