A 14-year-old boy remained in critical condition Tuesday after being shot multiple times in El Sereno.
Police have revised their initial conclusion that the shooting, in the 5300 block of Ithaca Avenue, was gang-related.
“At this time, we don’t know what the motive is,” Los Angeles Police Detective Dante Palacio said in an interview with ABC7.
Three suspects were being sought for the shooting, which was reported at 5:26 p.m. Monday.
