A man was shot and critically wounded in Pomona Wednesday morning, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 1800 block of South Reservoir Street, said Pomona police Sgt. Brian Hagerty.
The 18-to-20-year-old man was shot once in the chest and air-lifted by Los Angeles County firefighters to County USC Medical Center, he said.
Investigators were searching the block for shell casings and witnesses, he said. No suspect information was immediately available.
