A male with gang ties was killed and a male and female were seriously injured in a shooting in South Los Angeles Monday night.
The wounded male was also a known gang member, said Officer Janet Kim of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.
Police were called to 47th Street and Vermont Avenue about 7 p.m., Kim said.
The deceased victim was pronounced dead at a hospital, Kim said.
