Authorities identified a man who was fatally shot while riding his bicycle on a South Los Angeles street.
Solwah Phai, 28, of Los Angeles was gunned down about 1:50 a.m. Monday in the 1800 block of East 54th Street and died at a hospital, coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.
Phai was riding his bicycle “when an unknown suspect or suspects fired multiple gunshots at him,” Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman said.
It was not known if the shooting was gang-related, according to Eisenman.
No arrests have been reported.
