Police on Wednesday sought the public’s help to find a missing Montebello couple and their four children.
KCAL9 reported Wednesday night that the family car had been located near Harding Avenue and Third Street near the Beverly Hospital, a couple of miles from the family’s home.
Daniel Perez, 43, his 39-year-old wife Erica Perez, and their four sons Jordan, 11, Alex, 6, Jaiden, 9, and Tristan, 8, were last seen Friday, the Montebello Police Department reported.
“Neither parent is answering their phone (or) returning messages,” according to a police statement, which says the father “has been a no-call/no- show at work for the past two days.”
“According to family members, the parents’ marriage is unstable, and they do have a history of domestic violence,” according to the police statement.
They may be traveling in a black, four-door 2010 Honda Accord, license number 7FKV020. The car has tinted windows.
Police circulated photos of the family, and urged anyone knowing their whereabouts to call police Detective Anista at (323) 887-1200, ext. 249; or (323) 887-1313.
