Deputies investigating a building in the unincorporated Neenach area where there had been a fire and an explosion found evidence of a possible “honey oil” lab, used in the creation of hashish, authorities said Wednesday
Firefighters were sent to the 49900 block of 253rd Street West about 9 p.m. on Tuesday, said Lt. Chris Bergner of the sheriff’s Narcotics Bureau.
County firefighters and a hazmat crew were called to extinguish the fire.
Deputies then checked to make sure no occupants had been injured, but saw evidence of a possible “honey oil” lab.
Detectives then found “a significant amount of evidence,” Bergner said.
No suspects have been arrested and the investigation is ongoing, Bergner said.
