A half-inch natural gas line ruptured Thursday in Azusa, prompting a response by firefighters as a precaution but resulting in no evacuations.
The problem was reported about 12:15 p.m. in the 900 block of North Dalton Avenue, said county fire Inspector Randall Wright.
Gas company crews were sent to repair the line, which is in an alleyway, Wright said.
