A fire in a vacant home in South Los Angeles was knocked down in 19 minutes by 46 firefighters Monday, authorities said.
No injuries were reported, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire at 1107 W. 46th St., near Vermont Avenue, was reported shortly after 6 p.m., Humphrey said.
