Three suspects in a stolen car were taken into custody in Mission Hills Wednesday after they crashed their vehicle near the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway, a police lieutenant said.
The following began about 10:30 a.m. when Los Angeles police assigned to the Mission Station spotted the stolen car on Arleta Avenue, Lt. Bill Heard said.
“There was a short pursuit down Arleta Avenue until the suspects crashed their car near the 118 Freeway,” Heard said. “Two of the men surrendered immediately but the third one fled from the scene.”
The fleeing man was spotted by a police helicopter and arrested a few minutes later, Heard said.
