A man and a woman in the same car were killed in a two-vehicle collision in Torrance Tuesday night.
The collision occurred around 9 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway, just east of Hawthorne Boulevard, Torrance Police Department Sgt. Paul Kranke said.
The victims’ ages were not known.
The driver of the other vehicle, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries, Kranke said.
Investigators were trying to establish the cause of the collision, including whether the vehicles struck head-on, Kranke said.
All lanes of Pacific Coast Highway were closed between Zamperini Way and Madison Street until further notice.
