The body of a woman was found Thursday in the water near the south shore of Big Bear Lake where investigators have been searching for a missing Irvine woman.
San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies doing an aerial search in a helicopter spotted the body about 10 a.m., according to Jodi Miller of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The dead woman has not been positively identified, but investigators suspect it is Lisa Ann Cimbaluk, who was reported missing Dec. 29.
The 35-year-old woman’s empty car was found covered in snow at the Woodland Trailhead in Fawnskin on Sunday. Her parents reported her missing.
