A fire broke out or was set during an inmate disturbance at the Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday evening, but no injuries were reported, authorities said.

Firefighters responded to the jail at 441 E. Bauchet Street and put out the fire, which was described as minor, said Deputy Amber Smith of the Los Angeles County Sheriff‘s Information Bureau.

The dispatch time was 5:46 p.m., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Some inmates were relocated, Smith said.
