Two people sustained minor injuries when the bus they were in was rear-ended in Long Beach, authorities said Thursday.
The bus was struck at a bus stop on Lakewood Boulevard, near the intersection of 23rd Street, around 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, Jake Heflin of the Long Beach Fire Department said.
Two of the bus’s 10 passengers were take to a hospital. The driver declined treatment, as did the driver of the Audi SUV that struck the bus, Heflin said.
The Audi SUV was totaled, a videographer at the scene said.
The collision was under investigation, Heflin said.
