A man was found dead in a bedroom in Hawthorne Tuesday, with sheriff’s homicide detectives assisting Hawthorne police with the investigation.
Police officers called to conduct a welfare check discovered shortly before 11 a.m. in the 14000 block of Yukon Avenue, said Deputy Juanita Navarro- Suarez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Hawthorne police discovered the body wrapped in blankets, according to the sheriff’s department.
The cause of the man’s death was not known and will be determined by the coroner’s office.
