A fire in a two-story apartment over a garage was extinguished in 17 minutes Wednesday, with no injuries reported.
The blaze at 3749 S. Halldale Ave. in South Los Angeles was reported at 2:45 p.m., said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Shawn Lenske.
About three dozen firefighters put out the blaze. The cause was under investigation, Lenske said.
