Police Wednesday released security images of a man being sought for stealing mail from a Glendale apartment building.

The crime occurred about 6 p.m. Jan. 23 in the 200 block of North Kenwood Street, said Glendale police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.

The man was described as 20 to 27 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, with a thin build, short dark hair and thin sideburns.

He used a thin metal tool to pry open several locked apartment mailboxes, then took items from them. He may have committed other similar crimes in the past month, according to police, who urged anyone with information on the case to call them at (818) 548-4911.
