Long Beach police on Friday urged people to contact authorities if they were victims of a man arrested for allegedly exposing himself in public.
Guadalupe Perez Jr., 21, was arrested on Thursday and was booked on suspicion of indecent exposure, with bail set at $50,000.
The crimes occurred from June through December of last year, police said.
“The police department received several calls from residents in the Bixby Knolls area regarding a male subject who drove a black vehicle who was seen masturbating in public,” according to a police statement. “The suspect would expose himself to females as they were walking down the street.”
The investigation led detectives to Perez, and they obtained an arrest warrant. Police today circulated Perez’s photo, and urged anyone with information on the case to call Detective Stacey Holdredge at (562) 570-7368.
