A suspect in an attack that critically injured three women in Burbank was arrested early Wednesday, police said.

Cameron Hanson, 29, of Valencia was arrested around 4:15 a.m. near the scene of the crime, which occurred in the 700 block of Roselli Street, the Burbank Police Department reported.

Hanson was expected to be booked on suspicion of attempted murder, said Burbank police Officer Cindy Guillen.

The attack about 11 p.m. Tuesday left three women injured, police said. Two were stabbed and one was assaulted; three are hospitalized in critical but stable condition, police said.

Burbank police Officer Joshua Kendrick told Fox11 that the victims were ages 67, 41, and 21, and one of them apparently “knew who he (the suspect) was.”

Hanson was arrested when he returned to the neighborhood, possibly to retrieve his vehicle, Kendrick said. No other suspects were being sought, he said.
