A man was taken into custody in connection with a string of burglaries at mobile homes in Carson, authorities said.
There have been 12 burglaries in the Imperial Mobile Estates at 21207 S. Avalon Blvd. since Jan. 8, said Detective Dennis Elmore of the sheriff’s Carson Station.
Deputies at the station received a call Monday when a suspect was seen looking into mobile homes whose occupants were not home, Elmore said.
Deputies detained a suspect after it was discovered he had several items in his possession that had been taken from some of homes. A later search of the suspect’s home turned up other items.
