Four parked vehicles in the Rosemead area were damaged Friday when they were hit by a car whose driver may have been involved in street racing and who ran away after the crash, authorities said.
The accident occurred on the 9700 block of Valley Boulevard around 1:55 a.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Oscar Lopez said.
The suspect’s vehicle, a 1995 Acura Legend, was left at the scene, said sheriff’s Lt. Tom McNeal.
Deputies went to the location on an unconfirmed report of a crash that may have involved street racing, McNeal said. No injuries were reported.
