Two men were arrested when Pasadena police raided a businesses where marijuana was being processed into hash oil, authorities said Tuesday.
Jeffrey Raber, 39, of Whittier, and Mark Piesner, 43, of Calabasas were taken into custody on Monday afternoon and booked on suspicion of manufacturing and processing a controlled substance, said Pasadena police Lt. Tracey Ibarra.
Both men were released late Monday after posting bail, Ibarra said.
The raid occurred Monday afternoon in the 2500 block of Nina Street, where police found about 500 pounds of marijuana and about 200 jars of hash oil, Ibarra said.
The business was not growing the marijuana, but was processing it into the liquid, Ibarra said. About two dozen other people at the location were interviewed by police but were not arrested.
The Pasadena Star-News reported that the raid followed an anonymous tip to police.
