Police Saturday sought the public’s help in locating a 17- year-girl from Azusa who was last seen Friday when her family dropped her off at a church youth group in Baldwin Park.

Angelica Lucia Garcia was dropped off by her family about 4 p.m. Friday. Family members were unable to locate her when she was supposed to picked up, and her current whereabouts are known, according to a news statement from the Azusa Police Department.

“Angelica may have been seen at a location in Monrovia (earlier today),” according to the news statement.

Garcia, who lives in the 800 block of South Azusa Avenue in Azusa, was described as a 5-foot, 2-inch tall Latino female weighing 127 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She wears black Ray-Ban prescription glasses and was last seen wearing a beige shirt and blue jeans.

Azusa police asked anyone with any information regarding Garcia’s whereabouts to call them at (626) 812-3200.
