A man suffered a leg wound Friday afternoon in a gang- related shooting in South Los Angeles.
The unidentified man was at the intersection of 99th and Main Street just after 1:30 p.m. when he was shot by another man who walked up and fired several rounds, said Officer Norma Eisenman.
He was in stable condition when transported to a hospital.
The suspect fled the location, headed south, Eisenman said.
She did not elaborate on why investigators determined the shooting was gang-related.
