A fire Wednesday damaged an attached garage and spread to some parts of the second floor of a Lancaster home.
Firefighters were dispatched to the two-story residence in the 3500 block of West Avenue J-3 at 11:47 a.m., said Los Angeles County Fire Department Inspector Randall Wright.
There was no word on what sparked the blaze, which was extinguished at 11:59 a.m., Wright said.
No injuries were reported.
