A possibly-drunken driver steered a vehicle down a steep roadside, and a helicopter was needed to bring two people to a hospital in the mountains south of Palmdale.
The two people were injured during in the single-vehicle crash neat Mount Emma Road at Angeles Forest Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was in the mountainous Angeles National Forest.
The helicopter was called in at 9:14 a.m. Sunday.
The condition of the injured was not immediately known, according to a county fire department dispatcher.
The CHP reported that at one time time a person was trapped inside the vehicle and that the driver may have been driving drunk.
