A shooting at an Adams-Normandie laundromat Thursday afternoon left one person wounded.
The shooting was reported at 2:15 p.m. in the 1700 block of West Adams Boulevard, said Officer Liliana Preciado of the Los Angeles Police Department’s media relations office.
The suspect’s getaway vehicle crashed a couple of blocks from the shooting scene, Preciado said, but the shooter got away on foot.
A description of the suspect was not immediately available, she said, adding that the shooting was probably gang-related.
The male victim was conscious and breathing when taken to a hospital, Preciado said.
